Receiving ClerkThe primary function of the Receiving Clerk is to facilitate the process of product management through a system of perpetual inventory. This is accomplished through the resolution of inventory discrepancies and education of personnel resulting in improved inventory integrity. Other responsibilities include:Operate a radio frequency (RF) gun to scan merchandiseOperate various equipment including cherry pickersSubstantial product familiarity and identificationPerform inventory adjustments and reconciliation of physical, documented, and electronic itemsPerform research as necessary to resolve discrepanciesPerform review of inventory status to ensure proper business practicesPerform review of inventory status to ensure customer satisfactionCreate reporting used to assist other departments in evaluation and application of best practicesAudit and report accuracy of the cycle count process through systemic confirmationMaintain inventory balance between EWM and ECC in SAPReporting emergent issues and concerns to on-site management team for assistanceBe an accurate and available resource to perform on-site support for development of operational departmentsAll other duties as assignedAt Bob's Discount Furniture, we value the unique skills and experiences that each candidate brings.
