Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Tucson, AZ. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred.
• Ability to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with safe patient handling techniques and discharge planning preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Day (5x8)
• Location: Tucson, AZ hospital setting.

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy in an interdisciplinary hospital environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient functioning, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, participating in discharge planning, documenting care per department policy, supervising assistants and students, and promoting patient and staff safety.
