Senior / IT Applications Solution Architect

Position Title : Senior / IT Applications Solution Architect
Skillset
***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Skillset
- Basic architecture patterns
- Layered architecture (UI → API → services → data)
- Microservices vs monolith tradeoffs
- Event-driven architecture fundamentals (pub/sub, async messaging)
- API & integration design
- REST/JSON APIs (design, versioning, error handling)
- Basic understanding of GraphQL (nice-to-have given your mobile/BFF context)
- Data fundamentals
- Data modeling basics (entities, relationships, normalization vs denormalization)
- Understanding of customer data platforms (CDP concepts)
- Cloud fundamentals (AWS preferred)
- Compute (EC2, containers, serverless basics)
- Storage (S3, RDS, DynamoDB concepts)
- Networking basics (VPC, subnets, security groups)
