Tax Manager position

TAX SENIOR / SUPERVISORA reputable, profitable regional CPA firm in search of a Tax Senior/Superivsor to join their team. We offer a work-life balance, great benefits, potential bonuses, and a quick path to leadership. This role includes a hybrid work setup with the option to work from home a few days a week.ResponsibilitiesHandles various accounting and tax tasks as directed by higher-ups.Demonstrates strong technical skills and adheres to professional standards.Provides guidance to assistants and reviews their work.Prepares and organizes working papers; performs procedures to verify client financial data.Prepares complex tax returns and dissolution/liquidation paperwork.Suggests tax planning strategies to senior staff.Writes correspondence for clients and management letters.Supervises and guides lower-level staff on assignments.Qualifications3-5 years of public accounting experience showing growth in accounting and tax knowledge.Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.40 hours of yearly professional education required.Current CPA license or working towards obtaining one.AICPA membership in good standing if licensed.
