Accounting Assistant
VP Management is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Princeton, WV. This role supports the accounting department by performing a variety of financial and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly accounts payable and payroll
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile bank statements and accounting ledgers
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounts software, experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
