Occupational Therapist PRN

Hourly Wage Estimate: $43.45 – $65.16 / hour Job Summary Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands‑on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing. Responsibilities Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and needs, and develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team. Deliver evidence‑based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life through purposeful, compassionate care. Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure thorough, timely documentation that reflects quality outcomes. Educate patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond. Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences. Provide guidance to therapy assistants or students and uphold HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy (direct inpatient rehab preferred). Current license as an occupational therapist in the state of practice.
