Position Summary

At Big Rig Towing & Recovery, our dispatchers are the heart of our operation. Every phone call is an opportunity to help someone who needs us, whether it's a stranded motorist, a commercial driver, or a customer needing roadside assistance. As the first point of contact, you'll help keep our trucks moving, our customers informed, and our team working together efficiently.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well, stays organized, and can keep a cool head in a fast-paced environment. If you're dependable, enjoy multitasking, and like working with a great team, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position with day and night shifts available , including some weekends and holidays as part of our 24/7 operation.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls from customers, law enforcement, motor clubs, and commercial accounts.
• Dispatch tow trucks, roadside service technicians, and mobile repair units.
• Communicate with drivers and provide job details and updates.
• Keep customers informed with estimated arrival times and service updates.
• Coordinate multiple service calls while staying organized and efficient.
• Monitor driver locations and assign calls based on availability and equipment.
• Enter accurate job information into our dispatch software.
• Work closely with drivers, mechanics, and office staff to keep operations running smoothly.
• Provide outstanding customer service, especially during stressful situations.
• Help ensure every customer has a positive experience with Jerry's Towing.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Ability to remain calm and make good decisions under pressure.
• Previous dispatch, customer service, transportation, logistics, or call center experience is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person.
