This position focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning used vehicles to ensure they meet dealership standards and are ready for sale.Our leadership team is committed to providing the equipment, training, and support needed for you to succeed.We Offer:Competitive flat-rate pay based on experience and performanceHealth and dental insurance options401(k) programPaid training and advancement opportunitiesModern diagnostic equipment and special service toolsConsistent used-vehicle reconditioning workResponsibilities:Perform used-vehicle inspections and repairs efficiently and according to dealership standardsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, air-conditioning, engine, and transmission concernsComplete used-car reconditioning work accurately and within established turnaround-time expectationsPerform road tests and use diagnostic tools and special service equipmentIdentify additional repairs needed to make vehicles safe and ready for retail saleProvide accurate parts and labor estimates for recommended repairsCommunicate repair needs and completion status to the Used Car Service Advisor or management teamComplete repair orders with clear and accurate technician documentationPerform recalls, software updates, and applicable certification inspectionsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaRequirements:Previous automotive technician experienceStrong automotive diagnostic and repair backgroundAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced reconditioning environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to complete repairs accurately and meet production expectationsMust provide or maintain the tools required for the positionWilling to submit to a drug screen and background checkClean and valid driver’s licenseASE certifications preferred, but not required
