Demand Planning Coordinator (Des Plaines)

Job Overview:
We’re looking for someone to support supply chain and demand planning activities for a large beverage distribution operation. This person will handle order entry, inventory and sales data, supplier follow-ups, and reporting to make sure products are ordered and delivered accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do:
- Enter and update forecast orders, purchase orders, and order adjustments .
- Track supplier orders, confirmations, delivery dates, and appointments.
- Review inventory and sales data and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain reports for orders vs. receipts, forecasts vs. sales, and inventory levels .
- Work with suppliers and internal Operations teams to resolve order or inventory issues.
- Maintain supplier portals and update important product/order information.
- Calculate pallet weights and truck capacity when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, supply chain, inventory, or demand planning .
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and formulas .
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data and multiple SKUs.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and perform basic business calculations.
