We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Procurement Specialist to support our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of procurement and subcontracting activities for complex Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. From RFP development and commercial bid evaluation to contract execution and project close-out, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring materials and services are sourced, secured, and delivered on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vendor and subcontractor management who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Project and Procurement Managers to support pursuit and execution schedules Develop bidder lists, issue RFPs, and evaluate proposals for compliance, diversity goals, and standards Negotiate terms, coordinate technical reviews, and recommend contract awards Draft and finalize contracts, ensuring required flow-down provisions Maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships; resolve performance issues Manage and update the Procurement Status Report (PSR) Identify and address risks such as delays, scope gaps, or pricing issues Validate materials against drawings and input data into management systems Resolve overages, shortages, and damaged items with construction/logistics Ensure all activities meet compliance, safety, and documentation standards Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned Qualifications: Required: 5+ years of procurement experience within EPC environments, particularly in T&D projects Proven track record in managing vendor/subcontractor RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiation, and material logistics Experience with supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, and expediting on high-value infrastructure projects Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field Preferred: Established network of vendors and subcontractors in the T&D or energy sector Skills & Attributes: Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to contractual details Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently while supporting a cross-functional team Exceptional organizational and time management skills Comfortable communicating with all levels of staff and external partners Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel up to 50% based on project needs Ready to build the infrastructure of the future with a high-performing EPC team?
