Annual Giving & Partnerships Project Lead

Annual Giving and Corporate Partnerships Project Manager Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for other than practical training. The university will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Job Summary Reporting to the Associate Vice President for University Advancement, the Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of annual giving initiatives and corporate partnership‑related projects within the Division. The role coordinates annual giving communications, provides support for Give to Blue Day, and collaborates across campus partners. It also manages coordination of corporate partnership agreements, monitoring timelines, tracking deliverables, collecting updates, and assisting in stewardship report preparation. Specific Responsibilities Serve as the central coordinator for implementation tracking related to corporate partnership agreements. Coordinate all aspects of Indiana State University’s annual giving day and Give to Blue Day, including project timelines, campus communication, marketing coordination, and collaboration with campus partners and Advancement staff. Develop and coordinate multi‑channel outreach efforts through email, social media, web, and digital platforms to support annual giving initiatives and donor engagement. Provide coordination and support for the Student Philanthropy Organization, including communication, event support, meeting attendance, and engagement initiatives. Collaborate with the alumni relations team, stewardship team, marketing and communications staff, and other campus partners to support consistent messaging, outreach efforts, events, and donor engagement activities. Support additional annual giving, donor engagement, and Advancement projects as assigned, including communication efforts, reporting coordination, event support, and administrative project management responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, communications, externally focused project management, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Ability to adapt to change, assemble, analyze, and present data, multitask, plan, organize, and implement projects timely; excellent interpersonal, customer service, public speaking, problem‑solving and leadership skills. Experience with budget management and comfort networking with groups or individuals. Professional demeanor, high energy, dynamic personality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to interact with students and to work extended hours during events and peak seasons. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an educational environment and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Benefits Life Insurance : coverage based on two and one‑half times appointment salary rounded up to the next whole thousand with a maximum of $100,000; includes Accidental Death and Dismemberment. The University pays the entire cost. Medical, Dental and Prescription Drug Coverage : cost shared between employees and the University. Rates depend on wellness program participation and tobacco use. Coverage available from the first of the month after appointment. TIAA Retirement Contributions : contributions begin based on the first day of employment at a rate of ten percent of base salary; securities vest immediately. TIAA Auto Enroll : new employees automatically enrolled; three percent deducted before taxes. Fee Waiver Program : tuition waivers for employee, spouse and dependent children for up to 18 hours of coursework per academic year; other eligibility details. Sick Leave : accrued 12 days per fiscal year with unlimited accumulation. Vacation : accrues up to 20 days per year based on pay level. Long‑Term Disability Coverage : eligibility after three years; 66 2⁄3 % income protection after 180 days of disability. Optional Benefits Voluntary Life Insurance : additional amounts can be purchased for employee, spouse, and dependents. Voluntary Vision Plan : enrollment possible within 31 days of start date.
