Certified Nursing AssistantWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty, assist patients in meeting self-care and daily needs.Essential FunctionsAssists patients with feeding, walking, transferring and personal hygiene.Performs procedures such as dispensing/retrieving bedpans, using skin care products.Reports observations and outcomes of activities performed to the nursing staff.Assist with mobility and positioning of residents.Following care plans and ensuring residents' comfort and safety.Records and reports vital signs.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAbility to deal with a variety of patients, staff, health care providers, and community representatives.Knowledge of standard practices, rules and regulations related to licensed practical nursing.Demonstrate the willingness and ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others. Be flexible and demonstrate teamwork.Compassionate and patient demeanor.Education/ExperienceThree to Six months experience in SNF setting.High School Diploma or equivalent.RequirementsValid CNA certification in the state of CaliforniaPre-Employment RequirementsEmployment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and health clearance which includes a physical exam, TB testing, and immunization review.CIH is an equal opportunity employerFlexible schedule. 12 hour shifts.
