Caregiving Sidekick

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay ($16.00-$21.00 an hour)
• Pay may vary by location, level of training and type of shift

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Take clients on walks, trips to social events or medical appointments, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand
• Perform light housekeeping
• Performs personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Supervisor which includes but is not limited to, assisting the client with activities of daily living, such as:
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Eating
• Dressing
• Shaving
• Meal Preparation (No worries - you don't need to be a gourmet chef)
• Maintain accurate care records
• Communicate with the care team

Working Environment:

• Primarily works in client's place of residence; travel may be required.
• Shift times and days vary with client needs.

Requirements:

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws
• Ability to pass background checks
