Commercial Product Manager (CPM) – Sliding DoorsWe are strengthening our presence in North America with our Sliding Door product portfolio. To support this ambition, we are looking for a Commercial Product Manager (CPM) – Sliding Doors who will shape and drive our portfolio for the North American market.In this role, you will define and drive the North American product strategy based on deep market insights, customer needs, and competitive analysis. You will translate these into Market Requirement Specifications (MRS) and solid business cases, enabling the development of competitive and innovative products.What you would doMarket & Product StrategyDefine and drive the North American sliding door product portfolio strategyIdentify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning through Voice of Customer and market analysis.Develop Market Requirement Specifications (MRS) for new products and enhancements.Build clear and compelling business cases to support product investments.Statistical market sensing and analysis to reflect the voice of the customer and market requirements.Product Lifecycle ManagementOwn the North and South American product roadmap aligned with global platform strategiesManage the full product lifecycle from ideation to phase-outEnsure alignment between regional market needs and global product development.Commercial ExcellenceLead product launches in North America, including pricing, positioning, and value proposition.Support Sales and Marketing with training, tools, and communication concepts.Contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets.Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as a key interface between Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.Collaborate closely with global teams on platforms, innovations, and future portfolio development.Drive feedback loops from customers, sales, and field performance into product improvements.What we are looking forExperienceDegree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA a plus.Several years of experience in Product Management or commercial roles in technical products.Proven experience in defining product requirements, managing product lifecycles, and building business cases.Experience in building products, access solutions, or automation systems is an advantage.Skills & CompetenciesStrong commercial mindset with the ability to translate market needs into product solutions.Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without formal authority.Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.A proactive "can-do" attitude with a results-driven approach.Additional RequirementsFluent in English (spoken and written), all other languages are helpful.International experience a plus.Willingness to travel across North America.We are the ASSA ABLOY Group Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
