About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead all commercial activities, with a focus on enterprise sales in the healthcare IT sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract execution, particularly within major health systems and hospital groups. This role requires the development and refinement of a go-to-market strategy, the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes, and the establishment of early-stage sales infrastructure. The VP of Sales will also be expected to represent the company at industry events and forums, and to work closely with the co-founders to align sales strategy with product development and company goals. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of enterprise healthcare sales experience, with a proven track record in selling hospital software to health system executives. Deep familiarity with hospital operations, including patient flow, bed management, and capacity utilization, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience as an early commercial hire in a growth-stage company, a player-coach mentality, and a strong understanding of hospital IT environments, security requirements, and compliance processes. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a clinical or operational healthcare background being a plus. The role also demands a willingness to travel regularly across the Midwest, South, and Southeast U.S.
