Marketing Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator manages the organization's brand and communications by working with leadership, staff, vendors, and media to ensure consistent messaging across websites, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate communications strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic plan. Coordinate and produce newsworthy content, newsletters, articles, press materials, promotional materials, and social media content. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and branding across external communications. Support targeted marketing through audience segmentation based on buyer personas, email engagement, and website interactions. Support email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics activities. Coordinate with vendors for events, web/podcast, video production, and other specialized communications. Establish measurable communications objectives and monitor effectiveness, trends, and market research. Ensure EIR Accessibility requirements are incorporated throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain current knowledge of communications and industry trends. Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience as a Marketing Communications Coordinator. 1-2 years of experience with external communications such as newsletters, writing, and publishing design. Experience with public relations, marketing, targeted marketing, social media, promotional marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics. Minimum 1 year of experience with email marketing and marketing automation technology. Strong understanding of email marketing metrics, including Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Style.
