Expected Outcomes and Requirements Manage all physical connectivity of equipment in Central Offices and Active Cabinets. Complete installation of server racks and cabinets. Install optical transceivers and fiber optic jumpers. Work cross-functionally to determine connectivity requirements for different departments. Complete equipment racking and grounding to design specifications. Perform cable continuity testing and troubleshoot any issues. Perform equipment and hardware testing and turn-up and verify appropriate status. Install, add, and remove batteries per design specifications and life cycle needs. Qualifications 2+ Years of Field Engineer experience. 3+ Years of Telecom Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Complex problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to multi-task. Strong follow-up skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills, including positive phone demeanor. Proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Ability to lift up to 120lbs occasionally.
