Surgical Technologist CVOR

Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries. Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed. Estimated pay range for this position is $28.50 - $42.88 / hour depending on experience. Candidates will be required to take call and report within 30 minutes of call time. 2 shifts per week and 1 weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper. Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support. Additional Qualifications: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program Preferred. AST Certification preferred or extensive experience (2 years preferred) in one of the following specialties: Open Heart, Neurosurgery, or Hepatobiliary. For Open Heart, Neurosurgery, and Hepatobiliary, validated training and competency endorsed by the Director of Surgery and the specialty Chief is required. Work experience preferred.
