Required Skills
- Active RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state
- Valid BLS Certification through AHA
- Valid ACLS Certification through AHA
- Minimum of 1 year of operating room or surgical nursing experience
- Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous travel or float nursing experience
- Additional certifications related to perioperative care
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least 1 year of surgical or OR nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with various surgical procedures and protocols
Other Requirements
- Willingness to float to Main campus or other departments as staffing needs dictate
- Ability to start as soon as possible, with an availability to begin by May 18, 2026
- Compensation at $58.96/hour, with travel and licensure reimbursements where applicable
- Commitment to providing compassionate, safe, and efficient patient care during your assignment
