Speech Language Pathologist – Speech Pathology Unit Location: Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Santa Rosa, CA. Job Type: Per-Diem, 8‑hour Day Shift. Description Speech‑language pathologist in the Speech Pathology Unit. The practice includes assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance as needed. Required Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program. Completion of, or eligibility for, Clinical Fellowship Year. Coursework/Training: Speech‑Language Pathology Area of Specialization – Completion of competencies for therapeutic feedings, patient transfers, and assistance with Modified Barium Swallow studies. Upon hire: California Speech Language Pathologist License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications Coursework/Training: Education or training in dysphagia assessment and management. 1 year Acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience. Pay Range $55.68 – $83.79 per hour; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
