Providesshift-levelguidance,coordination,andoversightofassignedsecuritydutiesandprocedures.Thisrolesupportsoperationalexecutionandadherencetosecurityprotocolsbutdoesnotincludedirectauthorityoverhiring,termination,compensation,orformaldisciplinaryactions.

PositionSummary

TheRetailSecuritySupervisorsupportsretailoperationsbyservinginadualfunctionrolethatcombinesreceptionandsecurityresponsibilitieswithinthelicensedretailfacility.Thispositionisresponsibleformaintainingasafeandsecureenvironmentforemployees,customers,patients,andvisitors;assessingandde-escalatingsituations;respondingtoworkplaceinjuriesandsecurityincidents;andsupportingregulatorycompliancewithinretailoperations.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

  1. Maintainasecureandcontrolledentranceandexitforthelicensedretailestablishment.
  2. Serveastheprimaryreceptionpointforcustomers,patients,andvisitors,includinggreetingindividuals,answeringphones,andprovidingauthorizedinformationinaprofessionalmanner.
  3. Conductcustomerintakeproceduresbyverifyingagethroughscanningvalididentificationanddirectingcustomersthroughinitialpurchasingsteps.
  4. Issue,document,andmanagevisitorbadgesandensurevisitorsareproperlyescortedwhileonfacilitypremises.
  5. Enforcefacilityaccessrules,includingdenyingentryorrequestingindividualsleavethepremiseswhenrequiredbypolicy.
  6. Monitorsurveillancesystemsandsecurityequipmenttoidentifysuspiciousactivityandrespondtoregulatoryrequestsasrequired.
  7. Performroutineandperiodicchecksofelectronicsecuritysystems,includingalarms,cameras,andaccesscontrolsystems,toensureproperoperation.
  8. Assessdevelopingsituationsandengagewithcustomers,patients,oremployeestodeescalateconflicts,disturbances,ordisruptivebehaviorinacalmandprofessionalmanner.
  9. Respondtoalarms,disturbances,injuries,accidents,securityincidents,andemergencysituations.
  10. Leadinitialresponsetoworkplaceinjuries,includingprovidingFirstAidandAEDsupportandassistingwithincidentdocumentationandfollow-upreporting.
  11. Initiate,document,andmaintainaccurateincidentreports,witnessstatements,andsecurityrecordsrelatedtosafety,security,orcomplianceevents.
  12. Coordinatewithemergencyservicesorlawenforcementwhenescalationisrequired.
  13. Protectcompanyassetsfromtheft,diversion,assault,fire,andothersafetyorsecurityrisks.
  14. Communicatesecurityconcerns,incidents,andongoingissuesduringshifttransitionstoensurecontinuityofcoverage.
  15. Maintaincustomerandpatientconfidentialityinaccordancewithapplicableprivacyandsecurityrequirements.
  16. Applycompanysecurityandsafetyprotocolsconsistentlyindailyoperations.
  17. Reportcustomer,patient,oremployeeissuestosupervisorystaffandassistwithinvestigationandresolutionasappropriate.
  18. Maintainorganizationandcleanlinessofsecurity,reception,andmonitoringareas.
  19. Maintainopen,professionalcommunicationwithmanagement,securitypersonnel,andretailstaff.
  20. Supportretail,security,andoperationsleadershiptoensuresafeandsecurestoreoperations.
