Exciting Opportunity for Surgical First Assistant!

Job Description:

- Position : Surgical First Assistant
- Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks
- Shift : 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Weekly Hours : 36 Hours

Unit Information :
- Unit : Cardiac First Assistant Tech - Vein Harvester
- Location : Salt Lake City, UT
- Floor : 2nd
- Building : Main

General Information :
- Number of CVORs: 2.5
- On Call Requirements: Every third weekend, every third weekday
- Weekend Requirements: Rotate call every third

Skill Set Requirements :
- Must Have :
- At least 2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest utilizing either Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro
- At least 2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience

- Preferred Skills :
- Candidates with additional experience will be prioritized

Typical Procedures Performed :
- CABG
- Valve repair/replacement
- TAVR
- Aorta repair (open and endo)
- Thoracic procedures

Personality Fit :
- Team player with a passion for patient care

Required Certifications :
- CSFA, CFA, or SA-C

Floating Area :
- Main OR

Dress Code :
- Scrub Color/Attire: Provided by hospital
