About the Role:

We are building our Account Management team to protect, retain, and grow Source Logistics' existing customer relationships while driving disciplined expansion across our portfolio.

This role is ideal for an Account Manager who has successfully grown existing customer relationships by understanding their operational challenges and identifying opportunities to expand services. Rather than simply maintaining accounts, you will serve as a trusted commercial partner who helps customers achieve their supply chain goals while driving long-term growth for Source Logistics.

As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 10 to 15 customer accounts. You will be responsible for developing strategic account plans, strengthening customer relationships, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and collaborating with Operations, Finance, Solutions, and Business Development to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Compensation: $90,000 to $120,000 base salary, plus a target bonus opportunity, performance accelerators, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 10 to 15 customer accounts with end-to-end commercial accountability.
• Develop strategic account plans that outline customer objectives, operational footprint, stakeholder relationships, and growth opportunities.
• Identify and lead cross-selling and upselling opportunities by translating customer operational challenges into expanded Source Logistics solutions.
• Drive customer retention while growing revenue across assigned accounts.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Renew customer agreements while protecting and improving account profitability.
• Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, opportunity tracking, customer health metrics, and account activity within CRM systems.
• Partner closely with Operations, Solutions, Finance, and Business Development teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for customer escalations and strategic initiatives.
• Represent Source Logistics during customer meetings, facility visits, and industry events.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in food and beverage logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, food manufacturing, 3PL, or related commercial environments.
• Proven track record of growing existing customer accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and strategic account expansion.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, cold chain, transload, value-added services (VAS), co-packing, and supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated experience building relationships with customer leadership, including Operations, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders.
• Consultative sales approach with the ability to identify customer challenges and recommend value-added solutions.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience developing account plans, forecasts, and customer growth strategies.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Experience supporting food and beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing, or cold chain customers.
• Experience within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
• Experience leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

Salary range for this role is:

$90,000—$120,000 USD
