Speech Language Pathologist – Travel TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position requires 40 hours per week, 10‑hour shifts during the day, and travel type employment. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an SLP, you will assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes. Report progress and status to appropriate parties, including family, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged (exceptionally 1 year). BLS certification and ASHA National SLP Certification with state license. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
