Director of Nursing - Assisted Living

Cambridge House of Swansea is interviewing for a Director of Nursing to join our exceptional leadership team. Responsibilities Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident Delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents Engage with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience Fosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences Coordinates the Community's infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance Develop and oversee the Community's medication management program Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years nursing supervisory experience Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity Advancement and professional growth opportunities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packages EAP & wellness programs 401(k) with biweekly employer match* Intentional work-life balance supported with competitive Paid Time Off* Self-service payroll & accuracy tools (Paycom) *Benefits and eligibility may vary based on employment status (full-time/part-time) #J-18808-Ljbffr
