About the Role:

Lancaster Cupcake is looking for a talented and passionate Lead Decorator to join our sweet team in Lebanon, PA! This is your chance to turn delicious baked goods into edible works of art while leading a creative team in a fun, fast-paced bakery environment. If you have a steady hand, an eye for detail, and a love for all things frosting, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the daily decorating operations for cupcakes, mini cupcakes, cakes, JarCakes, and other specialty baked goods
• Apply frosting, fondant, piping, and decorative elements with consistency and precision
• Train and mentor junior decorators on techniques, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with management to execute custom orders and seasonal designs
• Maintain quality control to ensure all products meet Lancaster Cupcake's presentation standards
• Manage decorating supplies and inventory, communicating needs to management
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness standards at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cake or cupcake decorating, pastry arts, or a related bakery role
• Proficiency in piping, fondant work, and various frosting techniques
• Strong attention to detail with a creative and artistic eye
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple custom orders simultaneously
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus
