Production operations coordinator

The Production Operations Coordinator - Personalisation is a dynamic, cross-functional operational support role designed to provide continuity, flexibility, and resilience across our micro digital print facility. Supporting both Ecommerce and Print workflows, this position acts as a deputy to the Senior Production Operations Lead when required and contributes to broader global operational activities. The ideal candidate ensures seamless production support, assists in daily coordination and execution, and provides critical operational coverage during peak demand or leadership absences.

Responsibilities

Production & Equipment Operations

• Support day-to-day production activities across Ecommerce and Global & Design Print projects, including machine operation, order preparation, packing, and dispatch.
• Operate Helix and associated personalisation equipment strictly in line with SOPs and quality standards.
• Provide agile, cross-functional support to production, fulfilment, and print activities based on daily operational demand.
• Assist with routine machine checks, preventative maintenance, and ensuring overall operational readiness.

Leadership & Coordination Support

• Act as deputy to the Senior Production Operations Lead in their absence, maintaining continuity of operations and clear communication with Global Operations.
• Assist in coordinating daily production schedules to ensure strict alignment with facility priorities and capacity.
• Support the supervision of junior staff, ensuring tasks are executed correctly, efficiently, and safely.

Inventory & Quality Control

• Support quality control processes by identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues where required.
• Maintain precise stock accuracy and assist with materials handling, inventory tracking, and stock movements.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and operational standards at all times.
• Contribute to wider operational activities beyond core production, including process improvements, system testing, or cross-team support.
