Role Description The Sales Agent role at Lone Star Logistics is a part-time, remote position responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in logistics and related services. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and contacting potential clients, explaining service offerings, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales. The Sales Agent will respond to client inquiries, provide basic guidance on service options, and ensure a smooth handoff to operations and support teams. This role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, participating in online training sessions, and collaborating with colleagues to refine sales strategies. The Sales Agent is expected to manage a consistent pipeline of leads, meet agreed performance targets, and represent the company in a professional, customer-focused manner.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive client relationships.
Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing opportunities.
Candidates should possess Insurance-related knowledge or experience, particularly in logistics, freight, or transportation insurance, or be willing to learn these areas.
Candidates should possess Training-related capabilities, such as willingness to participate in ongoing product and compliance training and apply new knowledge to sales activities.
Relevant qualifications include prior experience in logistics, transportation, or related industries; familiarity with CRM tools; and basic proficiency with standard office software.
Additional beneficial qualifications include strong time management, self-motivation in a remote setting, and the ability to work independently while meeting part-time scheduling requirements.
