Our organization is in search of a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to become a part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This role will play a vital part in the ongoing enhancement of our Complex Benign Gynecology Program . The ideal candidate will join a flourishing regional referral practice dedicated to advanced benign gynecologic conditions, minimally invasive surgical techniques, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic growth.

About the Department:

• A comprehensive tertiary care department featuring:

  • 35 physicians, both part-time and full-time

  • 17 advanced practice providers

  • 2 full-time genetic counselors

  • 24 residents and 7 fellows

• Conducting over 2,500 deliveries annually

• Annual ambulatory clinic visits exceeding 18,000

• Performing more than 2,000 surgical generalist cases and over 250 family planning procedures each year

• Serving a patient population with complex co-morbidities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct specialized assessments and ongoing management for patients with complex benign gynecologic issues , such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, chronic pelvic pain, and intricate fibroids, requiring advanced gynecologic skills.

• Execute advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries , including complex laparoscopic and robotic techniques, focusing on personalized, evidence-based surgical approaches for complex benign conditions.

• Engage in and help broaden multidisciplinary care pathways for patients with complex pelvic disorders, collaborating with specialists in gynecologic imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, gynecologic oncology, and other relevant fields.

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice and participate in relevant subspecialty clinical coverage.

• Instruct and mentor medical students and residents , particularly in operative techniques for minimally invasive and advanced benign gynecologic surgery.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activities .

• Contribute to the ongoing advancement of our Complex Benign Gynecology Program .

Qualifications:

1. Hold an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical institution and possess or be eligible for a New York Medical License.

2. Successfully completed a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.

3. Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
