Commercial Loan Assistant II

This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to bank customers by assisting with commercial loans as well as utilizing knowledge of the various accounts and products offered by the bank. Major duties and responsibilities include explaining, promoting, and selling bank products and services based on individual customer needs, supporting the bank's relationship banking culture through customer contact and superior product knowledge, providing administrative support to the loan officer, and handling customer complaints and escalating issues to the supervisor as needed.

Employee specifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior banking experience, one to two years of prior loan assistant experience, basic mathematical skills, proficient computer skills, strong understanding of loans and loan products, ability to initiate tasks and projects with little or no supervision, exceptional customer service skills, good problem-solving and decision making skills, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well with customers by all means of communication including written, verbal, and non-verbal communication.
