Shift Details

Night shift available, working four 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Position Overview

This role is for a qualified CT/X-Ray Technician certified in Washington. The technician will be responsible for performing both CT and X-ray procedures, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in patient care and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Operate imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Adhere to protocols for contrast media preparation and administration.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Provide interdisciplinary support, working closely with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position will not require floating between units, and no on-call duties are expected. The technician will be the sole staff member on shift after midnight, managing all responsibilities related to CT and X-ray procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography.
• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting required.
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Experience in emergency and trauma care is beneficial.

Patient Care Details

The facility is a short-term acute care center with a total of 104 staffed beds. It provides care for a diverse patient demographic including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Additional Information

Travelers may be required to float between nearby sister facilities as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet operational demands. Commitment to working three of the five major holidays is required.
