Join Our Passionate Team as a Speech-Language Pathologist! Job Description:
- Effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
- Develop tailored plans of care in accordance with clinical practice standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record as needed.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on evaluations.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding speech disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Deliver comprehensive discharge summaries that comply with regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation and patient records per company policy.
- Participate in necessary meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
- Attend required trainings, in-services, and conferences to enhance professional development.
- Assist in obtaining any required DME or supplies according to clinical practice standards.
- Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Adhere to ASHA and State practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice. Submission Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience (required).
- New Graduates welcome with Level II experience, not just Level I observation.
- Required experience in LTC or Rehab settings.
- Valid Massachusetts State License (required).
- CCC certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required).
