Assistant Professor (tenure-track) faculty position(s) Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, West Virginia University School of Medicine, Morgantown, WV. The West Virginia University Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine seeks to fill two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor rank. Candidates with innovative research programs focused on fundamental mechanisms underlying human disease are particularly sought. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program. Participate in departmental teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, or professional levels. Qualifications: Terminal degree in biomedical or related fields. At least one year of postdoctoral experience in a related field. High-quality publications. For candidates with a PhD in another field: at least two years of postdoctoral training in biomedical or biological sciences and demonstrated successful contributions to biomedical research.
