Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee quality assurance initiatives, drive test automation efforts, and coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Eggplant automation, functional testing, stakeholder communication, and project coordination, along with experience in the GIS and Utilities domain. This is a hybrid position based in Richardson, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities for enterprise applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Eggplant.
• Execute comprehensive functional testing to ensure application quality and business requirements are met.
• Coordinate testing efforts across project teams and serve as a key point of contact for client communications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to identify defects and validate solutions.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting using tools such as QMetry and JIRA.
• Monitor project progress, communicate testing status, and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending best practices in test automation and quality engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Eggplant-based automation testing.
• Strong background in functional testing across enterprise applications.
• Proven experience in project coordination and client-facing communication.
• Experience working with QMetry and JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
• Domain knowledge in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Utilities is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional automation testing frameworks and tools beyond Eggplant.
• Ability to lead testing initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid software development environments.
