Resident Care Associate

Description The Retreat at Loganville is hiring Resident Care Associates to join their team! Shift Details Assisted Living, Mon-Fri; Every other weekend and holidays required PT 7a-3p and 11p-7a, also FT 3p-11p Purpose The Resident Care Associate reports directly to the Family Experience Director, Pearl Director or the Assistant Family Experience Director. The role is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Responsibilities include hands‑on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) while maintaining a safe, comfortable home‑like environment. The Resident Care Associate must demonstrate all elements of wellness and remain in accordance with federal, state and local standards, regulations and Phoenix policies to promote the highest quality care for our residents. Principle Duties And Responsibilities Participates in the development and updating of Personalized Service Plans and attends service‑plan review meetings with families as requested. Follows the hydration schedule established for residents during the shift. Completes resident meal attendance sheets and ensures that residents who have not dined in the dining room are provided room service or otherwise accounted for. Knows and complies with all resident rights. Initiates, assigns, and assists with appropriate activities. Checks all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition. Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions. Checks on assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness, taking appropriate action and ensuring high‑risk rooms are double‑checked. Assists with conducting laundry room and common‑area checks (including bathrooms) for cleanliness and hazardous chemicals, taking appropriate action such as contacting housekeeping or personally cleaning the area. Completes all ADLs for assigned residents according to the resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP). Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells, resetting call bells as needed. Education/Experience/Licensure‑Certification High school education preferred and may be required by state regulations. Prior experience working with elders or disabled individuals is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old to perform the personal‑care aspects of the role. Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living and dementia care or skilled nursing are preferred. Ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, and to be available during peak service delivery times. #J-18808-Ljbffr Phoenix Senior Living
