Skills: The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator utilizes leadership skills daily to guide and motivate a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive and effective care delivery. Senior care expertise is essential for understanding the unique needs of elderly residents and implementing appropriate care plans and facility policies. Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration with healthcare providers, residents' families, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and trust. Financial acumen and organizational skills are applied to manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently, maintaining operational sustainability. - Valid and current Nursing Home Administrator license in Texas.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing home administration or senior care management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and senior care best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated through previous supervisory roles.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related discipline.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology integration.
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings or with specialized senior populations.
- Proven track record of successful regulatory inspections and accreditation achievements.
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing home, including resident care, staff management, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing home operations and resident care standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing home staff to maintain high performance and professional development.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation to support sustainable facility operations.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to address resident needs and concerns.
- Monitor resident satisfaction and quality indicators, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.
