In-house Technology Transactions Counsel
New York, NY (Hybrid – 2 days in office)
Our client, a global business consulting and technology services firm focused on data, analytics, and digital transformation, is seeking a commercially minded in‑house attorney to support complex technology transactions and strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (SaaS, software licensing, hosting, vendor, and partnership contracts)
- Advise on legal, regulatory, and risk considerations across technology implementations and commercial deals
- Serve as the primary legal contact for contract interpretation and day‑to‑day queries
- Partner cross‑functionally with product, sales, operations, and technology teams to mitigate risk and enable growth
- Support development of contract templates, playbooks, and scalable processes
- Stay current on evolving regulations, including data privacy and AI
What You Bring
- JD and active U.S. bar membership (NY or CA preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience, including technology transactions and/or strategic partnerships
- Mix of law firm and in‑house experience preferred
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage high‑volume workstreams and operate independently in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation & Work Model
- Base salary: $165,000 – $185,000 + bonus eligibility
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week in‑office (NYC)
