SDA - Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking and Diffusion

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, youll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Preferred Experience:

Technical Background:

• STK/Python or MATLAB analyst focus
• SE with MBSE experience and tracking knowledge
• SE with core skills space, tracking, MATLAB or python skills, some software ideal for backfill
• SMART OA SE knowledge of IRPL and modeling tracking payload, aerospace experience
• Strong SW, cloud, modeling, and sim background with space knowledge
