About the Position

Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN – Ohio

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; must work at least every other holiday

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit serving patients up to 25 years of age
• Specialized care including epilepsy monitoring, EKG rhythm recognition, and inotrope management
• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments
• Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months of continuous service
• Professional development through specialty-specific module training and annual competencies

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in PICU required prior to travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience acceptable)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at time of application
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
