Strategic Growth Manager As a Strategic Growth Manager, you are directly responsible for driving net‑new revenue by bringing top‑producing agents to Compass. In this role you will sell the Compass value proposition—including technology, marketing, culture, and growth—to independent contractors. You will work directly with decision‑makers, eliminating many of the hassles of selling to large corporations, and you will operate fully onsite, reporting to our Fort Worth office. Key Responsibilities Bring top‑producing agents to Compass by effectively selling the Compass value proposition. Work directly with decision‑makers to eliminate many of the hassles of selling to large corporations. Operate fully onsite and travel to meet clients and prospects in the field. Maintain high‑impact engagement at our offices and in the field, maximizing collaboration with local teams and agents on‑site. Track and meet quarterly quota based on Gross Commission Income (GCI) brought to Compass, with deal sizes ranging from $200k to $3M+. Metrics Quota‑carrying role based on GCI generated from agents or teams. Quotas measured by prior 12‑month performance of agents or teams. Average time to close approximately 30 days. Nuances Sale is highly humanized; every agent is treated as the CEO of their own business. High IQ and EQ are essential, requiring patience, listening, agility, and focus. Team comprises professionals from investment banking, management consulting, law, and enterprise sales. SGMs consistently generate 15× more revenue per head than top tech firms. Qualifications B.A. or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a glass‑half‑full mentality. Self‑starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision. Excellent communication skills; ability to lead client meetings and presentations. Highly organized; ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously. Track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail‑demanding functional responsibilities. Compensation Base pay range: $100,000–$110,000 annually. Potential bonus target: $30,000–$60,000 with uncapped potential. Restricted stock units may also be provided.
