Responsibilities
- Provide Med/Surg nursing care with an oncology focus for adult patients, including monitoring and managing clinical needs on the unit
- Perform telemetry monitoring for assigned patients and respond to changes in patient status; participate in rapid response and code events as directed
- Administer medications, manage oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support, and implement isolation precautions as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV/Phlebotomy, PT, RT, radiology, pharmacy, social services, transport, interpretation services, unit secretary) to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely Epic documentation and ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Support unit operations and patient flow within a 26-bed telemeted Medical/Medical-Telemetry unit with Oncology diagnoses

Requirements
- Active RN license required (pending license not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; Oncology experience required; OCN certification preferred but not required
- BLS certification required
- Oncology-focused Med/Surg with telemetry experience; Epic charting experience required
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift; weekend coverage required as part of rotation
- Travel eligibility: local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
