Account Executive

Verde Valley News Media is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Account Executive to help local businesses grow through strategic advertising and marketing solutions. In this role, you will build lasting client relationships, develop customized advertising campaigns across print and digital platforms, and identify new business opportunities throughout Sedona and the Verde Valley. This is an in-office position offering a strong base salary, commission potential, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities by identifying and securing new advertising clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted marketing advisor
• Create customized advertising solutions across print and digital platforms to meet client goals
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion
• Consistently achieve sales and revenue goals through proactive prospecting and account management

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver outstanding customer service
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable prospecting for new business and managing multiple client accounts
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn CRM and sales tools

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary of $40,000–$50,000 annually (DOE) plus commission and a guaranteed transitional bonus program, with first-year earning potential of $50,000+.
