Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Per Diem

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Coverage needed on Acute Rehab Units (ARU) and acute units. Options available for 3 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month, with a preference for additional coverage.

Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide per diem services in various acute care settings. The role involves evaluating and implementing treatment plans for patients requiring speech and language interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients with speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ACUTE care experience preferred.
• Completion of Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• Current certifications in CPR, TB test, and relevant health screenings.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
