Tax Manager

Summary Tax Manager will work directly with all firm Partners on client income tax matters. Responsibilities Review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities to ensure accuracy and compliance Work closely with firm partners and staff, taking responsibility for planning, supervising, reviewing, and completing client engagements Manage all client tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities Direct, coordinate, schedule, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, coordinating, and interfacing with clients to ensure all deadlines are met Handle complex tax notices, audits, and correspondence with government agencies Supervise, train, and mentor tax and accounting staff, including reviewing work papers, providing feedback, and managing team workflow Remain up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations, conducting research to resolve complex tax issues Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Master’s degree in Taxation preferred Active CPA certification required 5-10 years of relevant income tax experience in a public accounting or financial services environment Experience using UltraTax CS for tax preparation a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
