Database Administrator

About the Role: Provide support for KUB's enterprise databases and business systems, including commercial and custom applications. This role manages the installation, security, performance, backups, high availability, troubleshooting, and refreshes of Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases across Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments. The DBA team ensures reliability, availability, and data protection while supporting approximately 500 databases and participating in 24/7 on-call coverage rotation. Responsibilities also include creating SQL, maintaining documentation, and automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and consistency. The role requires familiarity with evolving technology trends, basic OS administration skills, and the ability to design and implement solutions that align with KUB's architecture. Qualifications Physical Requirements: Sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time in normal office conditions, but does involve walking or standing outside periodically for inspections, customer calls, etc. Work requires no unusual physical demands. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above.
