Maintenance Manager

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent garment manufacturer in the Tupelo MS area, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Maintenance Manager Job Summary:

· Pay: Salary range starting at $41,600, direct hire opportunity

· Shifts Available: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial sewing machines and related equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system issues across the facility
• Maintain and service HVAC systems to ensure proper climate control for production areas
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and production interruptions
• Install, adjust, and calibrate new and existing equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment efficiency

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (garment/textile industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Industrial sewing machine repair
  • HVAC systems
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting (motors, wiring, control systems)
  • Mechanical systems and equipment repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• HS Diploma or GED required
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
