Maine Beer Company is looking to add a part-time dish washer to our kitchen team! The Dishwasher at Maine Beer Company is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for plates, silverware, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dish washing area is cleaned and organized. The approximate pay range for this position is $20.00-$21.00/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrape, rinse and load dishes into machine
• Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative work environment

• Demonstrate strong work ethic to meet the demands of the business
• Wash all dishes, utensils, glassware and pans
• Clean, sanitize and maintain dish machine
• Change water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more depending on the volume of business
• Empty trash containers as needed
• Maintain a clean work area by mopping and sweeping as needed
• Perform daily closing tasks
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as requested
• Assist in bussing and sanitizing tables
• Maintain communication with Head Chef and other coworkers
• Abide by dress code applicable to food safety
