Job Title: Product Introduction (PI) Technician Location: Los Angeles, CA Employment Type: 12-month contract Industry: Transportation Manufacturing Compensation: $36-$42/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

About the Opportunity: Our PI Technicians play a key role in carrying out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule. You will work in a safety-centered environment with other teams to ensure our train vehicles are in working order for our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Understand in detail the acceptance criteria of the customer for the project/product.
• Carry out the systematic handover from manufacturing.
• Ensure that all serial test procedures are covered and the completion of test reports.
• Manage the repair of failures
• Trace with precision and rigor each failure
• Propose process improvements
• Collaborate with other teams internally to achieve common goals
• Escalate any non-up-to-date testing tools
• Comply with EHS procedures
• Report deviations, near-misses, and accidents accordingly

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience testing & commissioning of electrical, control, vehicle, or onboard communications & network systems

What Sets You Apart:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with high-risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements
• Previous work experience in the rail industry and/or specific educational studies in this field
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and networks domains
• Understanding of Lean approach for Industrialization
• Result-driven mindset
• Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders
• Proven Aptitude for problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
