Description
SUMMARY: To provide complete food service to conferences and banquet guests by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comprehend and understand Banquet Event Orders
- Set tables and food display for function as needed
- Serve meal using proper service etiquette
- Buss tables and bring items to dish situations
- Maintain banquet service areas
- Perform side work as required, fold napkins, fill shakers, clean signs etc.
- Observe diners to respond to any additional requests
- Attend departmental meeting
- Assist all other personnel in setting and clearing rooms for upcoming events.
- Ensure all services to members are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail
- Support safe work habits and contributes to a safe working environment at all times.
- Follow directions, take criticism, get along with co-workers and supervisors, treat co-workers, supervisors and Members and their guests with respect and courtesy, contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment and refrains from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior
- Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work well under pressure
- Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to work independently
- Must meet legal age requirements for the position
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- One to two years related experience
- Resort and/or hospitality experience preferred
- High school diploma or equal to a GED
