General PCU Registered Nurse

As a General PCU Registered Nurse, you will care for patients recovering from surgery, stable cardiac conditions, respiratory illnesses requiring non-invasive ventilation, or those transitioning from the ICU who still need significant medical oversight. These patients often require specialized nursing care, advanced monitoring, and sometimes complex medication regimens to ensure a smooth recovery and prevent complications. Ratios on this unit are 1:4. Our academic model and teaching orientation supports learning at all levels, and is truly a collaborative environment between nursing, physicians and other therapies. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our Nursing Clinical Ladder Program, a tool that recognizes nurses that demonstrate contributions to patients, profession, and society above and beyond job requirements. This opening is for a FULL-TIME Day Shift opening and will require 3 shifts per week from 7am-7:30pm, with weekends and holidays included on a rotating basis. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
